Ned Carlson
Ned Carlson is a Managing Director of Dawntreader Ventures (www.dtventures.com) and has been with the team since its inception in 1998. Prior to Dawntreader Ventures, Mr. Carlson held various positions in the investment banking division of UBS Securities. During his time at UBS, Mr. Carlson advised technology clients on all facets of the capital raising and initial public offering process. Mr. Carlson holds a degree in government from Harvard College.
In addition to serving as a director and Chairman of Xora, Mr. Carlson currently serves as a Director of Peer39 and an Advisor to Placevine. Mr. Carlson is also a former Advisor to the Board of MortgageIT (IPO, NYSE: MHL), and a former Director of InterSAN (acquired by Finisar, Nasdaq: FNSR), Colloquis (acquired by Microsoft, Nasdaq: MSFT), and ProactiveNet (acquired by BMC Software, NYSE: BMC).
Patrick Wack
Mr. Wack has over 15 years experience in growing and leading high-growth Companies. In 5 years, as CEO of IntraLinks (www.intralinks.com), he led the Company from $20mm to over $125mm in revenue. The Company had a highly successful exit in June 2007. Prior to that, as COO, Mr. Wack helped build an outpatient health care services company from $0 in revenue to a successful IPO and eventual sale.
In his capacity as a venture partner for Rho Capital, he serves as the Chairman of IntraLinks and is a board member for several portfolio companies, including Medical Present Value and Paterson's.
Mr. Wack has a BSE from Princeton University.
Sanjay Shirole
Sanjay Shirole is a seasoned software industry professional and entrepreneur, with over 21 years of experience in software development, technical support, consulting and business management. As co-founder, President and CEO, Sanjay leads Xora's overall business operations.
Prior to Xora, Sanjay spent three years as President of Web Apps, a privately funded enterprise software company that he co-founded. Sanjay also spent five years with Oracle Corporation, based in Redwood Shores, California, in various positions. His roles at Oracle included implementation and support of ERP and Supply Chain solutions for large Fortune 500 companies, including Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, Fujitsu, Motorola, Timex and others.
Prior to Oracle, Sanjay spent a year with HP's Scientific Instruments Division in Palo Alto, California, and spent a number of years in software consulting and IT management for Tata Consultancy Services and the Forbes Marshall Group in India.
Sanjay is a Mechanical Engineer and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mysore in India, and is certified by the APICS association as a CPIM.
